Conference Details
The 10th TechNet Conference in 2009, held in Perth, Western Australia involves a joint collaboration of all Western Australian Universities: Curtin University of Technology, Edith Cowan University, Murdoch University, Notre Dame University and The University of Western Australia.
"Sustain: People Places Resources" showcases the technical community within Western Australia, providing an opportunity for technical, scientific and research staff to have professional development and a chance to take in the beautiful surrounds of Perth and the Swan.
Perth is home to stunning beaches, expansive inner city parks, outdoor dining and an abundance of water sports and activities.
The University of Western Australia, established in 1911 is situated next to the picturesque Swan River's Matilda Bay, close to Perth CBD, majestic Kings Park and the historic Port of Fremantle. UWA is among the most striking campuses in the nation with its grand, old sandstone and terra cotta buildings sitting among elegant heritage-listed gardens.
